Horrorhouse: Graphic Novel Illustration and Design. Written by Miguel Acedo, this graphic novel is a horror anthology of new stories based on two of Poe's short stories, The Black Cat, and Morella, re-imagined in the present day and the 1950s respectively. The book is also an homage to old horror comics and movies taking much inspiration from old Hammer horror films and old horror comics anthologies like Tales from the Crypt and Creepy. The book ties both the film and comics media influences together through the series setting of a drive-in movie theater circa mid-century,complete with poster previews of upcoming stories.
